from Sequoia Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, have paying enterprise customers, and have growing teams in SF and NYC. The team has years of experience building and operating business-critical machine learning systems at scale at places like Uber, Google, Facebook, Airbnb, Twitter, and Quora.
At Tecton, we're building tools to solve complex problems in data engineering for machine learning. We're looking for a Technical Writer to own and execute on the vision of our documentation.
As our first Technical Writer, you will be the owner of our documentation. You will be responsible for designing the information architecture, layout, and strategy of our documentation. You will be expected to be creative, making calls on how to simplify, better explain, or organize concepts.
You will also be hands on in executing on the vision, producing how-to guides, references, and diagrams to support Data Engineers and Data Scientists who rely on Tecton for their production machine learning infrastructure. These technical resources will concern all parts of the Tecton product, including key concepts, Tecton SDKs and APIs, as well as infrastructure and security specifications.
You will be expected to learn complex information about the product and distill it in a simple and logical manner. You should have some experience building documentation for a technical product in the past.
